An Air Force veteran recently came forward with whistleblower allegations that the U.S. government has possession of extra-terrestrial vehicles, more reports of UAPs (unidentified arial phenomena) have been declassified, and senators, former CIA directors, and even former President Obama are speaking publicly about UFOs. Self-identified "nerds" David French and Skye Jethani debate the evidence that we're not alone in the universe, explore the massive theological implications of discovering intelligent alien life, and conclude with a conversation around the virtue of humility and the danger of certainty.

I recently found your podcast and really enjoy your information on a variety of subjects. As for UFO’s, there are so many reports from so many reliable witnesses, that logic tells me that something’s going on.
How many Biblical references to heavenly beings and skyward messages can we find? I’d like to recommend the SkinWalker Ranch series where a team of scientists attempts to make sense of UFO sightings using scientific experiments.
Love you guys and glad you took on this topic as it’s relevant for pastoral care, especially for student ministry. However, I was surprised to get the impression this topic was new on your radars. I’d be intrigued if y’all revisited this topic but pulled in some real nerds on this topic to get their takes based on their broad and deep backgrounds and research. I’d strongly recommend Jacques Vallee (while he’s still alive) and Hugh Ross. Books I’d recommend include…
Lights in the Sky & Little Green Men: A Rational Christian Look at UFOs and Extraterrestrials
Book by Hugh Ross, Kenneth Richard Samples, and Mark Clark
Revelations: Alien Contact and Human Deception (1991) by Jacques Vallee
Messengers of Deception:…
I really recommend Lewis' essays on these matters as well as the Space Trilogy. One of them is discussed here on the official Lewis site: https://www.cslewis.com/religion-and-rocketry/
I think the most likely scenario if we ever do encounter or find evidence of extra-terrestrial life is that large portions of Christians, especially in North America, will simply deny that it is true, much the same as they have with evolution, climate change and Covid-19.
