- Phil Vischer

Do you remember the children’s book, “Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day”? That title also sums up what most Americans think about Trump’s new war with Iran. Kaitlyn explains why the war is immoral based on Christian theology, Phil channels Ezra Klein to define America’s new “heads on pikes” foreign policy, and Skye says the war fits Donald Trump’s long pattern of laziness and impatience. Then, Preston Sprinkle is back to discuss his latest book, “From Genesis to Junia,” about his journey to determine what the Bible really says about women in leadership. Also this week, Americans were the only people in a worldwide survey to say most of their fellow citizens are bad people. Plus, some happy puppy news.

The increased interest bit was relevant for me, but on the flip side of what was mentioned. I grew interested in Egalitarianism after growing up theologically and politically far right. After watching my church go down the Trump rabbit hole in 2016, I started thinking more about everything I had accepted as part of the “package deal.” I no longer identify as complementarian, which kind of shocks me tbh, but is also liberating in lovely ways for a girl who grew up leading in a lot of spaces, but not at church!
I'm glad to hear Skye finally calling Trump out for what he is: a petulant bully. Initially, team holy post and Skye particularly thought the fear of project 2025 was overstated and dismissed most of what Trump was undoing as not all that bad, and easily reversed by a stroke of the pen when the next administration takes over. Skye "doubled down" on that in May 28th Episode 671 and said that Project 2025 fears are "overstated." Now that you think this regime's actions will lead to the next 9-11 (and I don't disagree) what I want to know Skye, is if you are willing to admit you were wrong is dismissing Trump's destruction as not that big of …
