In case you haven’t noticed, the evangelical movement in America is a mess. Some say we should let it all burn down. Others fiercely defend the historic and theological richness of the tradition. Dan Stringer says there’s a third option that is honest about evangelicalism’s failures, while also valuing its strengths. Kaitlyn interviews Stringer about his new book “Struggling with Evangelicalism: Why I Want to Leave and What It Takes to Stay.”
Also this week, former Trump national security advisor Michael Flynn says the U.S. should only allow one religion. Skye explains why the Pilgrims did not come to America for religious freedom, and Christian explores healthy and toxic patriotism. Then, what should we conclude from the Kyle Rittenhouse verdict? Plus, orcas are attacking yachts and Phil celebrates World Toilet Day.

Just got done reading Stringer's book: I'll give it a big thumbs up! Highly recommended!
I think he does a good job, for instance, differentiating the "brand" (public image) & "space" (the lives, worship, etc of evengelicals).
Regarding Skye's comment about open carry laws, he's spot on. I have a friend who is an FBI agent. He must have his weapon on him 24/7. But it also must be concealed as much as possible. A visible weapon is not a deterrent; it's a "mess with me" invitation for far too many.
And (as he has noted) the paperwork is horrendous if he has to shoot someone.
You observed that November 19 is world toilet day, but not that that same date is the international men’s day! Incredible… isn’t that something to observe? Men, who for years, probably centuries, have been immasculated and subdued by the woke feminine leftist hypocrites deserve to be taken seriously for at least one day a year! I wonder why they chose the same date for world toilet day and international men’s day…
